Hello and welcome to the inaugural post of Song of the Day!

It does exactly what it says on the tin. A song will be posted every day, for no other reason that we can’t keep all this glorious new music to ourselves. Everyone from the site will be chipping in so expect an eclectic mix and let us know what you think.

The honour of the very first Song of the Day goes to ‘Paradise Sound System’ by In.Motion. Perhaps we should have started with something less ominous-sounding but this sits perfectly with my autumnal, miserable self. I have little information on this producer other than the fact that he is from Berlin and he makes soundscapes that mine the riches of electro, two-step, minimalism and ambient to create something remarkably textured and hypnotizing. It’s best served in the early hours of the morning before a come down. Enjoy!
