Monday’s are always a little shitty, aren’t they? Not only is it the daunting week ahead of work and pretending to be a grown up, but also the nostalgia for the fun and frolicks of the weekend just gone. WHY CAN’T IT LAST FOREVER!?!

Maybe I’m not helping myself with today’s Song of the Day but it might just cheer everybody up. Today’s artist is Roosevelt, a Cologne-based DJ who also plays with a live band on occasion. He has recently been supporting Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs on tour (who was amazing when I saw him on Friday) and his latest release ‘Sea’ is an addictive, multicoloured carnival of electronica and dance. Consider it the musical equivalent of a light box to soothe our autumnal/wintry blues.
