A classic scenario of having my iPod on shuffle, hearing a song, and then popping that artist’s album on. So I’ve been listening back to Tiken Jah Fakoly’s African Revolution after ‘Marley Foly’ came up on shuffle. As with most of the tracks on this album, I love hearing the reggae beat against an amazing kora solo.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the single format, so I’m glad Four Tet has decided to compound many of his recent 12″s into an LP. Pink is now available as a digital release on Text Records.
